  I'm new to fort McMurray and my prescription was empty so I had to renew it but my general pract. In edmonton was on vacation so I couldn't get my prescription written and sent up here. I booked an appointment to see dr.bouwer to write my prescription as I need to take it everyday and I was out. I deal with severe anxiety and other mental illnesses and went in hopes of dealing with a professional who I could trust and instead left in tears feeling like there was something wrong with me. He came in didn't introduce himself or nothing. Fine. Then asked what's wrong with me. And why I'm dealing with what I am. To which I told him I have no control over my mind/chemicals in my brain. He then let out a deep breath wrote me a prescription and proceeded to tell me that he wouldn't be my practitioner because he doesn't like to share. He treated me as if I was some drug fiend just looking for a prescription. I told him he could pull up my medical history and I gave him my doctors office from edmontons phone number to answer any questions to which he completely dismissed. Not only did he make me feel like there was something wrong with me but he was moody, rude, abrupt and 10/10 would not record to even my worse enemy.
